Uri (You-ree)
Uri owns a small starbase, called the Crossroads, on the edge of the Roselexian Sector together with his brothers Mike, Gabe and Rafi. They have owned it for as long as anyone can remember, and no one knows where they came from, but something is definitely odd about all of them. For one thing, they haven't aged at all in all that time.
Officially, Uri is in charge of security for the Crossroads. He commands a loyal band of mercenaries who operate the laser array which provides the outer defenses for the base as well as taking care of any situations that get too out of hand on the inside. The Crossroads is essentially a lawless place, but the brothers will not tolerate any behavior that destroys their property or that might draw the attention of the UAG regulators.
Unofficially, Uri runs a lucrative black market operation dealing in goods and services that are illegal or regulated (meaning they can only be sold through official UAG sources). For this, Uri enlists the help of some of the light freighter pilots who frequent the Crossroads and don't mind doing a little smuggling on the side to boost their more above board sources of income.
To most people, Uri seems like a mysterious shady character with his dark wardrobe, buzz-cut hair and the strange dark green tattoos snaking up and down his arms. Oh, and let's not forget, that wicked scar across the left side of his chest. Of all of the brothers, he is the least social, preferring the company of his inner circle. Always lurking in the shadows, he rarely interacts with the general public outside of his official duties. However, this is mostly a facade that he enjoys projecting. Those who actually know Uri, find him to be warm and friendly with a great sense of humor.
MOTIVATION
Uri likes the good life and the finer things and he likes living outside of the systems and laws that he thinks are arbitrary and unfair. He can also be quite generous with those he likes.
