The Matriarchs

Structure

Known as The Matriarchs, the world government of Navaravu is a council made up of the matriarchs of each of the five clans: Varavu (oceans), Sahanavu (running water), Lahanavu (still water), Ziravu (ice) and Zizanavu (rain). Each matriarch is the head of her respective clan and they come together as a council to determine matters that affect their world as a whole. They must reach a consensus in order for any decisions or policies to become law. The Matriarchs also have the authority to speak for Navaravu in all dealings with outside worlds and entities.
