Keeper of Songs
Beyond time's edges a land whispers its name to me.
"I am the land of the Bane'ile," it sings. "There are two suns here and plenty of music. It's a place that is larger than life. My people live life to the fullest. They are bold and loud and adventurous. In my world, rivers don't flow with water, they carry starlight and stories. My entire history passes from generation to generation from mouth to mouth, sung in a river of sound. In my world, time doesn't follow clocks. It follows the suns crisscrossing in a never-ending infinity symbol until the the time of two becoming one. In this world the stars above hold secrets that taste like starfire drizzled with honey, spicy and sweet, and something ancient stirs in the hearts of each and every Bane'ile driving them forward to keep moving and exploring to the edges of all that is known. They follow a mystical map, visible in the stars above leading the way forward, onward, expanding out into the galaxy of Kantostara. New paths to explore. New creatures to meet. Along with new colors formed from forgotten memories from a time before time began stretching out until a time after time comes to an end. A wild kaleidoscope of vibrant hues pulsating with life and vitality......and now you know the secret of the lost songs of the Bane'ile."
Suddenly all around me vibrated with joy and I knew that I was finally home.
