Adventure Guild - Dodgeford
This is where a lot of mercenaries, security, bounty hunters, and anyone looking for an odd job or in town from another adventure guild might visit.
This building largely constructed out of wood. You might notice that this looks to be Dodgewood. It has a bit of log cabin vibes to it. Almost like an older saloon feel.
All over the walls, hanging from the rafters and ceilings are random trophies, oddities, banners, flags, conquests, and some art, mostly sculptures or carvings, a few memorials of lost members. Several tables (10-15), about half capacity (~30 people) (~6 staff, not waiters or waitresses, but more for the WORK side of the business, 1 cook), but it is the loudest building in the whole town. Most of the tables are groups of friends or workers, drinking, talking, joking. There is a table or two where you see stacks of coins, dice, cards, and other various gambling needs.
On one of the walls there is a bulletin board filled with different job postings. Looking for a person, "please steal something", "someone stole something, and I want it back", "someone stole something that I stole, please steal it back" "I require an escort", also "looking for an escort ;)". There are a few teaching lessons as well, "Sailing for Orcs", "How to pick a lock", "Looking for Booty". You see that most of the posts are crude, maybe written on a napkin or a reused piece of tattered parchment. If any job is posted on nicer paper, it is usually snatched up pretty quick, thinking the payout is much better.
Behind the bar there is Herbert. He is on a swing that has rigging above and along the bar. He swings from side to side, as you can see one of his legs is badly damaged. You recognize him from a previous vessel you both sailed on when he was a cabin boy.
