Jötnar

Derived from the tongue of the Nørr closely meaning to "giant" in Common translation. Much to the surprise of even linguists, Jötnar are not giants in the traditional sense. They a diverse race on their own right, ranging from the considerably disfigured and rare literal giants that justify the Common Tongue's translation, to those who appear to be at most a full meter taller that are otherwise more human than not.
