Sak'ahn - Elemental Identity

The Sak'ahn is the identity of all things, animates and inanimates. Each of these two groups manifest their signature in a different way. While the one of inanimate things depends only on their physical composition and thereby seldom vary, the one of living beings is defined by their soul and therefore can tremendously vary. However, living beings scarcely ever undergo significant changes. The perception of the Sak'ahn is a faculty some species naturally have but can also be developed by other ones. It is mainly used to spot specific things such as a peculiar type of mineral or the nature of a species, and for many different goals like hunting, gathering or even reproducing.
