Elementary Essences

The elementary essences are the primordial manifestation of Nankaï energy. They are divided in two categories : the natural elements composed of the metal, the wood, the water, the fire, the earth, the wind and the lightning, and the primitive elements composed of the light and the darkness. The former can still be divided in three other categories : the simple are the metal, the wood, the water and the fire, the complex are the wind and the lightning, and the neutral is the earth. The primitives are unique since they cannot be used as such, they can only be used as a catalyst or a revealer for other essences.

Composite essences

Under strict conditions the elements can be combined to create composite essences. The rarity of these type of essence increase with the number of elementary essences needed to create them. While binary essences are quite easy to found and use, senary essences are only known to exist in Primal Points.
