Western Continent

The Western Continent covers very different biomes, including dry plains in the south, cold mountains in north, and the Morendra mountains in the west.

Geography

Northern Steeps

This area is held exclusively by the Drakar, and very little information is known.
The territory is dominated by the Drake Burg, a large and impossibly high mountain range the runs from the border of Sholesen to the Black Teeth near the Dukanna Empire in the East Continent.
There are three different altitudinal zones, each having distinct climate. The region which lies below the tree line: it is the most important region as it is the largest of the three and contains almost all human settlements. The region which lies above the tree line: is clear of trees because of low average temperatures, and contains mostly grass and small plants along with mountain flowers. The glacial zone is the area of permanent snow and ice.

Special Fawna

These mountains are home to the Dragons in their various sizes.

Nothern Plains

This area is split between Sholesen and Tequra.
The majority of the country has flat terrain crossed by northwestern-flowing watercourses. Wetlands and marshy conditions are found once you move into Tequra along the Swichen coast. In the northeast there many glacier-formed lakes dating to the last glacial period.
Moving south, near the border with Aguara, features rough and somewhat patternless hilly and mountainous countryside, some of it formed by ancient volcanic activity.

Eastern Coast

This area is held exclusively by Aguara.
The region north of Iridan to northern border of Aguara has a continental climate, with warm summers, and cold and snowy winters. The area south of Irdian has a temperate climate, with long, hot summers and cold winters with occasional snow. Winters become milder with decreasing latitude until the Pryma border, which has a tropical climate and is frost free and is warm to hot all year.

Morendra Mountains

This area is split between the Aguara and Belalto Kingdoms.
It is separated into three zones. The Tropical Mounts, southern end where it is rainy and warm, the Dry Mounts at the northern end, and the Singing Coast, the western side claimed exclusively by the Kingdom of Belalto.
DRY MOUNTS: This dry steppe climate is considered to be typical of the subtropical position. The valley bottoms have no woods, just dwarf scrub. The largest glaciers do not even reach 10 km in length and have an only insignificant ice thickness.
TROPICAL MOUNTS: The climate is known to change drastically in rather short distances. Rain forests exist just miles away from the snow-covered peak. The mountains have a large effect on the temperatures of nearby areas. It has a humid environment then other parts of the mountains. A vein of Blue Vollonite runs along this section of the mountains almost reaching the Dry Mounts to the north.
SINGING COAST: The cliff faces of these mountains - which go all the way to the Western Coast line - are exposed Thelodot (Tamadena in the local language). These crystals are a cousin of Vollonite in that they have magical properties but that do not behave the same way. These crystals have a high rate of vibration and create a constant sound in the region. The Belalto people have learned to manipulate the crystals through the use of their voices. They can manipulate the weather (dissipate or create storms) and other forms of vibrational effects. There are many tropical storms a year that require careful manipulation by the inhabitants. Tuning crystals made of Thelodot are mined in this region and exported to the rest of the continent.

Special Fawna

These mountains are the only known habitat to the Gamayin (also known as Harpies or Wraiths). They feed primarily on medium-to-large mammals; bears, wolves, deer and sometimes humans, and the mountains cause their cries to travel for long distances.

Southern Plains

This area is currently contested between Aguara and Pyrma, though it is mostly held by Pryma.

These plains are mixture of woodland and grassland. The scattered trees in this region are sufficiently spaced so that the canopy does not close, despite the high number of trees. The open canopy allows sufficient light to reach the ground to support an unbroken layer consisting primarily of grasses.
The weather is seasonal, with rainfall variations from year to year, and dry season wildfires. Thanks to its latitude and the oceans on either side, the region has wetter summers and drier winters.

That's a lot of info! What species rule each kingdom? I think it would be nice to point it.

Oh Thanks. Forgot to add that.
