Altáriel Tar-Cálien

Altáriel Tar-Cálien is the wife of Vraisos the Bright in the legend of the City of Umbar's founding, "Finding the Desert Jewel". In the story, she is said to be the mother of Umbar's first Radiant, Ozen Dhovév.

Name Etymology

Altáriel's names come from the high elven dialect of Elvish.

Altáriel can be translated as "glittering garland", "maiden crowned with gleaming hair", and "maiden crowned with a radiant garland".
