Interdimensional voids open frequently on the world depositing men, women, and children from all walks of life and all manner of timelines to this world fate, wonder, and myth. It claims those who venture too far from what is known and seemingly owes its origin to fairy-tale itself - being powered by the hopes, dreams, and even the fears of the very people it claims.    Fueled by a strange mystical energy the people of the world call "The Chicane", this world is ever changing, ever growing, and ever dangerous. Mythical and fantastical beasts as well as dark and foreboding creatures walk this worlds surface. Great and terrible power can be granted to those who seek it here, especially those with evil intent, but there will always be those who rise up against these dark forces - be it messengers of fate itself, or average people wanting to make their world, Kaldra, a better place.
