Selka (State)

History

At the start of Selka, the city was managed by the Quilska Family which established it and named it after their Matriarch at the time. With the addition of seventeen families over the course of a hundred years, the government of the city has morphed from an autocratic dynasty to a more Oligarchical state where each Matriarch has a say in city policy.

Demography and Population

Selka's large population is divided into three groups, each depending on where the people live.

Military

The city of Selka is protected by the Civil Defense Force, which consists of three subdivisions: the Vanguard, the Magra Corps, and the Watchers.

Foreign Relations

Selka has good relations with its neighbors. Major trade deals with Shattarack and Sinsin have allowed Selka to flourish into a prospering trade city.
