Blood Queen

Isynx member of the Kvisvir clan who taxed her people with the blood of their prey and of their own.

She created a chamber with walls of marble and décor of dried blood. She had a ritual before the hunt of bathing in blood, something that made her the greatest hunter to ever live.

Some called her grotesque and monstrous, some respected her unbelievable hunting prowess, and some thought she was but a myth. Historical records of her a fuzzy, as she lived alone high in the mountains, only sending out tax collectors to collect her blood. She kept her people happy too, providing services as maintaining roads, hunting grounds, and public buildings. She also hired her citizens for strange jobs that she payed overly well for, such as circling the town twice at dawn and once at dusk (no further instruction than that) or to make sure any well had clear water and to let her liaison know if there is any contaminants in it.

She also providing civil cervices to the best of her ability. Outsiders questioned where she gained her vast wealth to do this, despite only collecting taxes of blood and not collecting any form of tangible currency. Her people were happy enough to look past her eccentricities.
