Wavewalkers
A defunct religious organization, the Wavewalkers are known for being an early stabilizing force in Kal'Araan after The Descent. A religious following of the deity Mayar, the Wavewalkers would travel across much of the Southern Emyr Expanse to bring harmony to the rifts that were created when Kal'Araan fell from the elemental planes. Seasons would regulate when a Wavewalker would perform their ritual annually, helping much of the farming population keep from losing their crops.
But as time went on, as it does, the Wavewalkers were needed less and less. The cataclysms caused by The Descent mellowed and disappeared over time, and there was less demand for an organization to help steer time irregularities. By 100 PD, the Wavewalkers were all but gone. Their scriptures and practices are still living on in some local town rituals, and many places have nods to their history, but one would be hard pressed to find a member of the order still alive in Kal'Araan.
Wrest chaos from the silver wave; seat consistency and peace in its place.
