Lawmaster

Lawmasters are civic and judicial emissaries sent by the Church of Bahamut and allowed by the Imperial Commonwealth of Emyr. They act as Judge and Jury, trying criminal cases and settling civil disputes in place of a full court. They typically serve in this capacity in smaller communities, especially frontier towns that lack infrastructure or funding for a court.
In larger places like cities such as Stonereach, they simply act as the judge in a trial, handling court process and sentencing.
