Personal history

Born an only child to lord Glar Greycastle and his wife Iris, who died in child birth, Glia's upbringing was harder than most nobility in Northern Emyr. While still wealthy, her family lived under threat of Bloodletters from the east, and the Barony of Kulenov to the west, both vying for power over their lands, the latter with underhanded diplomacy, the former with blood and steel.
At the age of 20 Glia traveled to Midgrove City to study at the local school of trade, spending the winter months at home helping with work within the keep itself, occasionally even helping out farmhands outside the walls in nearby Tolstead. She made it a point to be in person with the people her family ruled over, and is seen with great favor among them.
In 211 PD Glar Greycastle fell ill with an unknown plague. Bedridden and infirm, Glia was named Baroness Regent for her father, and remains so today.

Education

Educated at the Midgrove City school of trade, Glia was unable to finish her degree before leaving to manage the Barony of Greycastle in her father's absence.
