Boulderstall
We've always been outsiders. Too far from Midgrove City for trade, too small for the dwarves of Blackhearth to set up shop. We're on the fringe of the Northern Emyr Expanse, and some of us like it that way. -Ithar Lorraine
Demographics
Majority Emyri human, Boulderstall sports a small population of rougly 100 households.
Government
A community without official leadership, Ithar Lorraine and other community leaders address village problems with compromise and procedure.
Defences
Boulderstall has no official defenses, and relies on the response of Commonwealth troops, Paladins of the Church of Bahamut and Tormtar to secure the village.
Infrastructure
Little infrastructure exists in the village of Boulderstall, though there are public wells and a small sewer in the village square.
Assets
Boulderstall does not have much in stores of wealth, but being remote and on the path of pilgrims going to Roggvir, several religious artifacts are housed in the village hall.
Guilds and Factions
The Tormtar have their largest (yet still minuscule) presence in Boulderstall, though in recent years the Church of Bahamut has made a mission of revitalizing the village proper.
History
Starting as a mining town, the small coastal mountain beneath which the village resides ran dry somewhere between 140 and 145 PD, leading to a flight of residents. Since then, Boulderstall has been a quiet community of locals, seemingly lost to the fringe north of the Commonwealth.
Geography
Boulderstall gets its name from the small coastal mountain it sits beneath, lovingly referred to as the Boulder.
Natural Resources
The village once had good amounts of silver and cobalt flow out from its mines, but since have dried up. Most, if anything, that is harvested in Boulderstall today is agricultural, and occasionally sending ice south from the nearby frozen coast.
