Eynsesaayshéze Books, or simply just Eynsesaayshéze, are set of books gifted as part of the
Coming of Age process. They are primarily given to
Chershe women, though they are sometimes given to boys.
Ordering
If you are not from the cities, it is good practise to send a messenger out before you (if you are visiting for a longer period) or to just send a messenger with a large list of demands. As they are made special to each customer, there are parameters to be specified. Such as:
How many books should be made? (often 3, 7, or 13)
What books are to be gifted?
What materials do you wish to be used?
Preferences (such as making all them the same, etc)
Production
Most production is on Tarcos and on
Ógóóshwisa in workshops known as
Sheyema é Shéziiséb. They produce books of many types but a lot of these houses specialise in Eynsesaayshéze since it is profitable business.
They are written by Ézishiza, women primarily, who often write out these texts from memory. If they don't as is the case for younger Ézishiza, someone will be tasked with either recounting (the more traditional method) or procuring the texts necessary.
