The summaries and descriptions of the three eras.
There is no record of the beginning of Kairos. If the gods know of it, they do not say. However, even if they do know, it would be impossible to track the era's significant events, as time didn't exist as we now know it before The Exodus. The only definable moment in time is The Exodus itself.
In The Celestial age, the beings that are now gods wandered the material plane wielding the power of creation alongside many other now unimaginable creatures. The world shifted with its inhabitants, bending to more powerful wills than its own. There are many creation myths describing how the mortal races came around, but none are certain. All that is truly known is that it was because of the mortal races that The Exodus came about.
So the story goes, the most powerful beings on Kairos disagreed on how to treat the mortals. These feuds threatened to turn into plane-shattering conflicts. Ashnwara, the God-Queen, took the issue into her own jurisdiction. She expended the entirety of her power to divide herself into the planes known as The Nine Pillars of Creation in an event known as The Exodus. In this moment came the advent of physics, magic, and time. The post-Exodian world no longer molds itself to its inhabitants, but operates on its own laws, held together by the death of The God-Queen.
Now the divines exist in The Nine Pillars, divided by their power. The Nine Pillars are each lead by a Monarch, with Dominions under their jurisdiction, and Principalities under theirs. Monarchs are incapable of leaving their own Pillars. Dominions cannot cross the Middle Path, also known as the Astral Sea, but can travel between The Pillars. Principalities are the lowest caste of the gods, but can travel between The Pillars and The Material Plane.
It is said that should one of The Pillars ever fall, all nine of them will, and if they do, Ashnwara will return as herself and it will be the end of all things in one unfathomable instant.
After The Exodus, the mortal races had to establish themselves largely on their own. The world was still dangerous, as only the most powerful of the world's denizens ascended, and many creatures with power and hunger remained on the material plane. Slowly, the citizens of Kairos established themselves and carved the world to their needs, both with the aid of the gods and with their own cultivated strength. Empires rose and fell, as did gods, and eventually creation began to settle into its own as individual cultures across the continents curated their own histories and customs.
The current era is known as The Age of Prosperity. The world is settled and established. Celestial events are rarer, as is danger in the daily lives of the common people. The title "The Age of Prosperity" was named as such for monumental purposes: it is a sensible prediction, given that in general, life on Kairos has only become more and more prosperous. Some may call it wishful thinking, though, as existence itself is unprecedented, and there is no telling how well it's going to continue to go.
