Cleric: Voice Domain

Some of Kairos's gods value the power that words have over mortals, and they bless their clerics accordingly to command divine persuasion, preaching across Kairos for the benefit of the people or to manipulate them to their god's will. Some voice clerics are indistinguishable from bards, using song and verse to influence the world and people around them. Jorith, Orsyne, and Elidys all work in the voice domain.

Bonus Cantrip

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain the vicious mockery cantrip. This cantrip counts as a cleric spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of cleric cantrips you know.

Divine Charisma

When you choose this domain at 1st level, your divine blessings weave through your speech. Whenever you make a Charisma check, you gain a bonus to the roll equal to your Wisdom modifier. (Minimum of +1)

Channel Divinity: Every Word an Oath

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your channel divinity to force a creature to speak the truth.  

As an action, you choose one creature you can see within 60 feet. That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. If it fails, it is unable to speak a deliberate lie for the next ten minutes. Whether it succeeds or fails, the target does not know you forced it to make a saving throw.

Unsettling Verse

At 6th level, you can use your words to make your enemies doubt themselves. You can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw on a creature within 60 feet of you that can hear you. You make this choice before the roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier and you regain all expended uses of this feature when you finish a long rest.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Voice of the Gods

Starting at 17th level, you gain the following features:
  • You understand all spoken language.
  • Your voice protects your allies. Allies within 30 feet of you who can hear you gain a bonus to Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws equal to your Wisdom modifier. (Minimum of +1)
