Sanja

A lady of a minor family of House Krennel who has lived in Esdrun since she was a girl.   At first a close friend, and later lover of Lord Endon Krennel she was determined to be honorable and withdraw from the court once Endon married Bethja, but on seeing the relationship founder and Lord Endon Krennel's growing misery she remained to provide emotional support.   It is speculated that they are engaged in an adulterous affair.   Regardless of the truth of that it is clear that they are still deeply attached to each other.
Sanja is well liked at Esdrun except, naturally, by Bethja and her loyal servants.
