Raven Guard
The Raven Guard are composed of veteran warriors who have served the cause of House Malmor. They are chosen for their proven worth in battle and for their loyalty to Count Rookslaw and his House.
They wear black tabards over finely crafted mail, and over all they wear a hooded cloak, the hem of which is deliberately left ragged to suggest the wings of a crow or raven. The cloak is pinned with an enamelled silver cloak-pin bearing the Crowned Raven insignia.
Each member of the guard is supposed to be able to take the initiative and act independently. They operate in small groups and are accorded a higher rank than regular soldiers and can expect to be heard by officers of other (and hence lesser) formations.
