Welcome to Kadeth (ˈKah-Dehth)

Greetings to all and sundry. My name is Barran Forefire, long-time Cleric of Dhurros and now Court Archivist to King Taldor II, as I was to his father before him. Seeing as the level of activity in the court of Troyo is fairly low, I have endeavoured to create this Chronicle of the Known World. A silly pasttime, one might say, and truly, there is a lot of ground to cover, and much I do not know. Plus, there is the fact that there must be other landmasses out there, with their own peoples. The task I have set myself is enormous. As for the tome, itself, I use 1st party accountings as well as my own, eyewitnesses if I can get them, but it is still a massive undertaking. This Chronicle, I admit, will probably never be fully finished. Still, I hope you will peruse it, and perhaps learn a thing or two about our corner of Kadeth.

Author's Note: This is an evolving world, built as much by RPG play as it is by my craft. As such, only one of the world's continents has been explored at all, and most of the focus is on the Kingdom of Troyso, in the north-west. This world's mechanics are loosely based on Dungeons & Dragons 5e, so there will be a lot of stubs where I just didn't feel like copying from a book. The world, however, is my own invention and a separate setting from the Forgotten Realms. I hope you enjoy exploring Kadeth as much as I do.

Cool stuff! I do wish there was something more than the quote. It got me hyped for whatever I was gonna read and then it just... ended. Does Barran Forefire show up in other places in your world?   PS: Small typos here -> have endevoured to created -> have endeavoured to create

Sorry, this was written up in the height of Summer Camp, and I haven't had time to work on it since. Yes, Barran shows up in places; some of his articles include writings from his own journals (https://www.worldanvil.com/w/kadeth-nightflyer0ne/a/kotrond-shulora-ritual?preview=true) and letters from old friends, and he has his own article as well. Debating a third world. No, not that kind.
