The Spider Talisman

Recently found in the deserts to the south of the World's Foundation and coveted by collectors of ancient relics, the spider amulet was last seen in the possession of a unsavory gentleman who is only known as Lord. When Daezin came into contact with it, it became a catalyst for many changes in her life.
On one side of this copper-toned metallic disc is an angular spider, made up of a diamond and eight chevrons. On the other side, a faint pattern can be felt with the fingertip, but it is unclear if this was writing or some other symbol that has been worn away by time.

History

No one today knows who the previous owners were, or even who created it. However, it is strongly suggested that this talisman was created by the Xavi and dedicated to the ideals of mysteries and discovery.
In reality, this object was created by followers of Akaj, deity of time and connections, during one of Nykt's last visits, nearly 2000 years ago.
