The guardian Yokai of Abe no Seimei, born from a lightning strike in the Arashiyama. Azekura is a Raiju who dwells in a chamber beneath the mountains. Mifune founded Abe no Semei after discovering Azekura's abode in the mountains.

Azekura is a formidable combatant but is also exceptionally skilled in the art of healing. Should Sia and the other healers be unable to handle something, they go to Azekura for assistance. Azekura is responsible for resurrecting Genji after he was obliterated by Sayuri.
