Hesh Beetles

Hesh Beetles were large, long lived beetles found in the swamps and marshes of The Fens, on the northern side of The Everlake. Hesh beetles typicallly had heavy black shells casing their wings, that scintialled with other colors, most often greens and blues, but occasionally purples or reds. It was common for the Fenfolk to idolate a specific Hesh Beetle as their family spirit. These beetles were typically painted in laquers with traditonal runic inscriptions intended to provide ease of
