Birth of the Morin's Watch
Having initially arrived within Jotunheim with the rest of the original Giant Slayers, during a time in which the Shadowfell stretched all the way to the Ivory Peaks, Morin served the vital role of exploring the uncharted lands to carve a foothold for the settlers to come. He ventured to Dreyla's eastern edges, following reports of native Firbolg tales describing a land "blighted by Nidhogg," and stumbled upon the Shadowfell.

Covering much of what we now know as the Ivory Walls, it is said upon his battling of a shadow-corrupted Manticore, he immediately set into motion what is now known as the "Anti-Shadows Initiative." He beseeched the guild to finance and support him and the few brave souls who would join him. This would enable them to boldly confront the corruption and construct a stronghold at its core. This fortress would be named Morin's Watch. march into the corruption, and build a fortress at its heart. This fortress would be named Morin's Watch.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Subquestered Shadows
After founding Morin's Watch within the very heart of the corruption he and his company battled, they would spend the next 30 years in isolation with the only aid being in the form of supplies from the Giant Slayers and the few volunteers who would be sent to join their ranks. As a result, it is wholly unknown what may have transpired from within the Shadowfell. What scant information that is known from this period of time, however, exists in the form of correspondences between Morin and the guild. What is known, however, is that despite the perils and dangers within, he and his company managed the impossible. They succeeded in pushing back the entirety of the Shadowfell to its current resting place, behind the Dark Peaks.

Unfortunately, Morin seems to have not survived; his fate is only known to the Fell-Men of the Black Fortress, who seem keen on keeping it a mystery. What little they have said on the subject, however, seems to indicate that Morin had been alive and present until the very end.
