Deinocheirus

Living almost exclusively within marshlands, where it lives a semi aquatic lifestyle, Deinocheirus is both a gentle giant and a fierce fighter. While it tolerates, and occasionally even enjoys, the company of other herbivores that wander into its path, it does not tolerate aggressors of any kind. And has even been known to attack herbivores battling over a mate. So great is its ferocity and hatred for predators, that many have learned to simply avoid it, as it isn’t worth the risk.

Interestingly, it is because of these exact traits that many have begun to use them as creatures of burden. Easily bonded with, fiercely protective, and an effective deterrent of predators has led to the Deinocheirus to become a staple of Jotunheim travel. Although one downside is their love for fresh bodies of water, and their habit of abandoning any work to dive within. This is easily amended, however, by planning ahead of time to make regular stops at watering holes, or to simply bring large bowls for them to splash their faces in (although this is only a temporary solution).
