Ratling

Ratlings are bipedal child-sized anthropomorphic rat creatures that live in subterranean areas that are often filthy dark places such as caves or sewers. They tend to be territorial and never tolerate the presence of another Ratling in the area they have claimed. They are clever vermin, with a lust for small shiny objects such as coins, gems, rings, shiny rocks, and such. Their cowardice is only matched by their lust for small objects. Finding a Ratlings nest could be quite profitable for any young hero.

Anatomy

Ratlings are Bipedal Rat like creatures with large hands with thin fingers tipped with sharp claws.

Ecology and Habitats

Ratlings tend to dwell in dark cavernous areas, and have adapted well to sewers in the cities of man.  Its den will have a nest that they decorate with small shiny objects such as gems, rings, and other trinket like things.
