Mournful Spirit

A Mournful Spirit is an undead creature born of and event of great sorrow, and sadness, despising light and all living things that invade its space. Mournful Spirits stay near the place where they died. They can also guard something such as another dead body, treasure, something that causes the anguish they have. They can only be damaged by magic, or magical or silver weapons. The wail of the Spirit will cause all who hear to drop to their knees and weep. 

Description: A Mournful Spirit appears as a humanoid, with a mostly transparent and faintly luminous form. They look much as they did in life, though the injuries that caused their violent deaths are visible on many specimens and can be recognized by someone who knew what the person looked like.
Combat: A Mournful Spirits touch is not only painful; it also drains the life energy from living creatures. The life energy has a healing effect on The Spirit, and when the life energy of a creature is drained empty, the creature—only in the case of a humanoid—turned into a specter enslaved by its creator. Mournful Wail: At the beginning of combat the Spirit will let loose a heartrenching wail that will cause those with a week heart fall down and cry.
