House Wulfenbach
The Wulfenbach family was traces its legacy to the very founding of Grand haven, a tribe of wild men that had tamed the local Timberwolves to go into battle with them, they had made an uneasy alliance with the first settlers to protect the northern edge of the settlement in exchange for food, and the rights to high hill.
Generations later, the House proudly serves the Nobility of Grand Haven, sending its sons and daughters to serve in their Majesty’s army, an almost ritualist tithe that helps maintain their standing and status in the City at large.
The prestigious house Wulfenbach sits on the edge of Grand Haven, perched on the top of high hill among fields of gardens and grape vine. A keen eye can make out that the main body of the manor was once an old wooden keep, but peaceful times and a growing family has seen the fort converted into a comfortable Villa.
The children, grandchildren are sheltered on the estate, tutored in swordsplay and soldiery until they come of ageretired veterans of the family stay in comfort, and help perfect the wines that are making the true wealth for the House.
Currently, it is presided over by Baron Oberon Von Wulfenbach, the aged Patriarch of the family, with his three children, Frigga, Maxis, and Otto currently off on campaign or station afar.
The Hamshanks
Wulfenbach manor is built on the labor of the Hamshanks family, literally, as the maze of hobbit homes is built under the vineyards that surround the manse. They, their cousins and extended family, tend the vineyard, grow the crops to feed themselves and the family, and often serve as maids, chefs and butlers.
The family is very proud of this, and the Wulfenbach openly understand that they would not be nearly as well without the halfling community, a relationship started ages ago when the first Hamshank asked for shelter at the keep in exchange for being a cook.
A curious trait of the Hamshank lineage is magic attunement, as each generation will produce wizards that specialize in a specific school of magics, and as only halflings can, they turn those magics to agriculture or culinary works.
When a Diviner comes to power, they are expected to venture into the wide world beyond the manner and City. This is meant to expand the family’s cookbook library.

The amiable and fastidious cook, coming into his skills of Divination, has been tasked with adventuring to expand the family Cook Book in order to uphold the family traditon.
