Low Climes
At the bottom of Hurskfjell there are the steppes. It is a combination of lakes, swamps, rolling hills, and forests. It is a beautiful land filled with flowers and animals of all kinds.
When man reached the Low Climes, the giants roamed as nomads. It was treachery and blood that allowed men to farm the land and create their little kingdoms, far from the yearlong winters of Hurskfjell.
Geography
The Low Climes are the most varied in the region. To the east is plains and rolling hills, which turn into a coast on the ocean.
More central, there are forests, hills, and a massive lake which is the center of most of life in the area.
To the west of the hills and forests is a swamp, created by an abundance of snow run off. The swamp turns into a shallow lake every spring, which doesn't recede until late summer.
Beyond that, more plains connect to the the Sankive Forest.
Natural Resources
The region is ripe for food growing, and in certain years, traded food for metal with their northern brethren.
Grain and livestock are major resources. There are also plentiful forests and quarries. There is easily accessible coal, and some iron, silver, and gold mines, but they are very difficult to mine compared to growing food to trade with others.
