The Veiled Woods

There's a pocket of the Knotted Forest where the Material Plane overlaps with the Feywild, causing all sorts of strange flora and chaotic fauna to appear. It's not unusual to stumble across a talking shrub or a tree, a playful satyr or nymph, or a tangle of thorns that's dead-set on killing you and your party. The font of wild magic here makes it very appealing to wizards... But the danger of the untamed forest keeps most of them from actually making the trip. The area is watched and maintained by a group of dedicated rangers who are devoted to both keeping the forest safe and keeping dangerous monsters from escaping its borders.
