Stone Root Clan
Hold fast, do not stray, live to see another day.
The Stone Root clan is a group of gnolls that live somewhere between the tallest peaks of the Skysea Mountains and the flat swaths of Bridgemeadow. Tek was gifted an old cloth banner with their symbol painted on it: two circles underneath a straight horizontal line, underneath a triangle.
Very little is known about the clan other than the fact that they're unusual compared to most other bands of gnolls. They're based out of a stationary settlement (contrary to the nomadic pattern one would expect), and show signs of creativity in painted armor and beaded jewelry, both of which have a unified, albiet simple, repeating aesthetic. Reekhna explained that they were part of a hunting and scouting party sent to look for another source of food--which implies that there are gnolls who do something other than hunting and scouting.
Most inexplicably, they seem to have a better handle over the Hunger than other gnolls. However, it's unclear whether this is because of food security, natural dillution, magical intervention, or any number of other factors--and it's also unclear whether or not it will remain that way if Reekhna's party is unsuccessful.
