Twicefell

Tertiary House. Second only to Thriyans in power within Lockhinge. Second most famous Tiefling noble House. Where the Thriyans and Ixenis are much more insular, the Twicefells are a very large House with members scattered far across the kingdom. Especially within Lockhinge City, most known for the deep pride held for their Tiefling and Infernal heritage.
Within Lockhinge, lots of clout, with influence in many of the political, criminal, and cultural groups. Speculation that they could have enough power to threaten the Thriyans, but the two families remain close allies. In addition to their political power, their position as figureheads in Lockhinge culture also occasionally makes them trendsetters, despite their traditional and "historical" vibe.
Overall, the family has the air of being just as mysterious and dangerous as the Thriyans, with a lean toward being magnetic, untouchable, aloof, elitist, and a little bit spooky.

Three matriarchs, humorously referred to as the Coven. (one of which is Srihessa, shortest of the three, quiet and very serious. The head matriarch seems to be a close friend--or at least ally--of the Countess.)

Rumors

Two fallings? Is it true that they actually attained a 'cure' once, and if so, was it some now unknown method of dispelling the Infernal influence, or did they just exercise more mundane ways of pruning Tiefling from their line? Before they fell twice, rumor that they became a line of paladins and soldiers. Were the two fallings related or even similar to each other, or completely different? Rumor that current one was either deliberate sabotage on a "good" human line, or at least one member diving into an even bigger and badder deal with devils in exchange for their current success. Rumors that they (perhaps along with Thriyans) are the center of powerful Infernal arrangements in the city. Like Thriyans, rumors that they either literally bed devils or have actual devils in their House on this plane currently. Though they claim most of their family's power comes from their rich history within the city, a common rumor is that they are primarily a mob family, tapped into major criminal acitivity, and intimidation is their main means of power. How many of these rumors are perpetuated or even started by Twicefells themselves?
