Tabasheer is found in irregular nuggets that are usually tumbled smooth and then polished to velvety sheen. They are worn in rings and decorated the fringes of shawls and pectorals, mainly in Edelian culture where this gemstone was used as currency in trade deals, especially when bartering with northern barbarian tribes.
If not used to make jewelry it is stored and ground and processed into a powder.
