Shadow Blast

You unleash a pulse of draining shadows, hues of black and blue coruscating within.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for every slot level above 5th.

Effect

Each creature within the cone must succeed on a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 6d8 necrotic damage. For the duration of the spell, the creature has disadvantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws and deals only half damage with weapon attacks that use Strength. A creature that successfully saves takes half damage and suffers no further effects.

Side/Secondary Effects

Each round a creature is affected, it can make a Constitution saving throw at the start of its turn. Success ends the spell for that creature.
