Jenathia

An island amidst a sea of elemental energy. They live on a fusion of all four elements and it is here that they build their kingdoms and wage their mortal wars. It is said that if you fly high enough, sail far enough, or dig deep enough you can reach the elemental chaos and see the fantastic creatures that existed before any mortal. This is a story of mortals and gods, of chaos and law, of magic and technology. The island is an old war zone between brother gods and the yet it is the most perfectly balanced world. The mountain ridge in the center is where it's said two great masses of rock pushed by the warring brothers collided. They both wanted to shape the mortal world and had gathered allies of other gods. Back then there was no good and evil, that came when the victors wrote the first history. Wilds, technology, and darkness were cast down and marked as evil, and so it became truth. It has been uncounted years since then. Magic flourished above and technology flourished below and a great hated grew, a war line drawn by where the sun shone. Evil beings of shadow and dream build grinding spires below as great mages lift beautiful castles above.
