Personal history

Ravart Silverspine was the last of the Silverspines to lead Silver Omenguard and to control Ver Omenguard. While under attack by imperial forces following the disastrous Battle of Ackra, Ravart was forced to take Silver Omenguard to Ver Omenguard and to perform a rearguard action while King Olric Stoneborn rallied their troops.
The prideful dwarf was unwilling to allow the fortress to fall so long as any of the Silver Omenguard drew breath and so, after supplies began to run out, ordered that they would consume their fallen companions in order to hold out against the Ackramorian siege. Ravart himself declared that he would bear the shame of the act alone and called upon Baltus, Silver Omenguard's patron deity, to forgive him. Ravart then took his own life, that he might be the first to be consumed by his hungry soldiers.
