{7,2} Shadow Forest DM

Quests:

• Rising Shadows: Gurrah, Velverelle, Alister, Sion and Quinn meet with the contact and leave for the Shadow Cut. Making a stop along the way, they find their past friend Baldwin gone and a note. After entering the Shadow Cut, they fight with Sorrowsworn in an abandoned lumber mill. Eventually following a trail to one of Baldwin's campsites where they find another note.mary.

• Exploration of the Shadow Forest: Party enters Shadow Forest and burns down a nest, which attracts many Sorrowsworn to that location. Afterwards they fly to a watchtower and learn of Rebels and Smugglers that plagued the area. Finally, they find a small village to the east and after clearing it find a note from Baldwin, Rebel Battle Plans, and learn from visions in the past that there was a battle in that village.
• What Did They Find There, and Emissaries (2 sessions): A group of Jaytowners was approached by Bayushi Kakito of the Scorpion Clan to travel to the country of Rokugan in the Shadow Cut to determine and steal if possible what the rival Phoenix Clan had recovered from the Shadowlands. The group inflitrated the Phoenix temple and found what looked like a jade egg marbled with black obsidan that was 5 ft in diameter. They were unable to move it but returned and gave the information to Kakito. Later the Phienix clan traced the inflitrators back to Jaytown and attempted to make peace. A group of adventurers travelled to Rokugan and defeated a group of monsters called "oni" that had made it past Rokugans defenses.
