Lore Summary:

Orksfordshire is the home to the Iron Chain tribe of orcs. The clan is closed to outside as they believe outsiders will corrupt their way of life although they will occasionally deal with Jaytown if necessary, such as transitioning from a warband into an actual society. The tribe recently arrived in the area from the north chasing out the remnants of an Ogre civilization that was weakened by infighting and civil war. Orcs, ogres and goblins are the primary inhabitants of this hex although most of the ogres and goblins have fled to the Yellow Crane or elsewhere.
Prior to the Iron Chain takeover the hex was the site of battles between ogres, although they were scattered enough that Scarlet and Castien chose it as the site of their wedding and was going to be the home to Jaytown's first formal arena. Papillion the Butterfly King was often found in the area as well when not cultivating his grove in the Feywillow Forest. Offshore is an underwater cave system used by kraken as breeding grounds More recently the first of the Infinite Stairways appeared in the area, although it was shut down.

Story Hooks:

• Ogres!:The ogres that formerly lived here have been forced out but they could return to reclaim the area from the Iron Chain.

• Civilized?:The Iron Chain Tribe is currently “settled” but the bloodlust could retake them or they could try to be even more civilized.
