Description:

Vast expanses of infertile plains with some hills and ponds every now and then. Harsh, cold winds and even colder nights with sky creatures roaming about ancient magical sites and hobgoblin encampments.

Lore Summary:

A barren land covered with short grass, ponds filled with flying shadowy creatures, flying creatures spying band of adventurers from afar, militaristic goblinoids from another world trying to achieve a permanent presence for unknown reasons, an ancient talking door named Knorr the Door that leads to a divine interdimensional staircase named Infinite Staircase all the while a brass dragon named Smug sits in its small canyon and asks people about their stories in exchange for helping them find their way.
Unlike other Infinite Staircases the one here somehow permanent. Maybe because it is anchored by the Knorr the Door . Whatever the reason that divine portal might cause problems if bigger threats than goblinoids find their way to Pangaea. According to some adventurers and their findings about Fingers of Kaan, drums of war can be heard inside the Staircase. Drums that may indicate an ancient conqueror preparing for something big.
