You

The Face in a Mirror

Mirrors are never to be trusted. You is the name given to the being that lives within your reflection, they may have a true name, but whenever asked the reply is always the same: "I am You." No one knows how You chooses whom they bestow their gifts to, only that once the gift is bestowed the reflection they see whenever they look into a mirror is themselves no longer, it is now You.

You does not speak, they communicate only through writing, though if a warlock of You is communicating with their patron, no one other than the patron can see the reflection moving of its own accord. This has lead to the sanity of many Warlock of You to be called into question.

Amnesia

Those who have been "chosen" by You have be known to suffer from amnesia, it could be as mild as forgetting an encounter with an ally, to something as important as ones own family. Some common beliefs displayed by followers of the one who watches beyond the mirror are listed below:
  • You wants something in our minds, if we find it You will reward us.
  • I am being constantly watched, I must impress.
  • One day, You will be free.

You lives within the reflections of their warlocks, one of their many gifts.

Expanded Spell List

When choosing You as your other-wordly patron you gain the spell Disguise Self. Your appearance does not matter, for whenever you look into a mirror, it is always You.

Disguise Self

1st Level Illusion   Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self
Components: V S
Duration: 1 Hour
You make yourself—including your clothing, armor, weapons, and other belongings on your person—look different until the spell ends or until you use your action to dismiss it. You can seem 1 foot shorter or taller and can appear thin, fat, or in between. You can’t change your body type, so you must adopt a form that has the same basic arrangement of limbs. Otherwise, the extent of the illusion is up to you.   The changes wrought by this spell fail to hold up to physical inspection. For example, if you use this spell to add a hat to your outfit, objects pass through the hat, and anyone who touches it would feel nothing or would feel your head and hair. If you use this spell to appear thinner than you are, the hand of someone who reaches out to touch you would bump into you while it was seemingly still in midair.   To discern that you are disguised, a creature can use its action to inspect your appearance and must succeed on an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC.
Divine classification: Old One   Alignment: NE   Honorary Titles: The Reflection, The Watcher Behind The Mirror   Resides: The reflection of they're chosen.
