North Wildlands

The north Wildlands is the home of the High Elves, and has been since 2493. Relations are still tense with the inhabitants of the South Wildlands. The capital city of the North is Ilijor, known for their art and cretation, as well as the many libraries and archives of information and manuscripts. It is renowned for their breathtaking architecture. There is two main Gates in this northern region, the North and Central, alongside many other minor ones. It is illegal to cross the border into the South Wildlands. The high elves don't use Gatesilver in their work and art, because they feel it is a violation of the natural laws of magic.

Geography

The area is dominated by quite rocky, hilly land, with a large forest to the south and a peninsula to the north.

Natural Resources

The mountainous landscapes of the North Wildlands are rich with metals and rare materials.
