Sylen Proselytism

The Sylen Proselytism is a movement in a small portion of the Northwestern-most area in Ny'thelynn. It moves to reveal to the Ni'larri people of Ny'thelynn that they have strayed away from the favor of the spirits of the traditional Sylen beliefs. It began as a grassroots movement within the rural area, beginning as a more conservative belief, but it eventually grew to others outside of that rural community as many ethincally Sylen people felt the need to fight back against the non-theistic Ni'larri. Many feel as if the government non-religion was crushing the origins and history of their peoples in its entirety.

Structure

There is no set hierarchy in the organization yet, as it relies mostly on the conservative beliefs of elders, but the energy of the youthful to spread their message.

Public Agenda

The agenda of the Sylen Proselytism is to return Ny'thelynn to its spiritual roots rather than the non-thiestic belifs of the Magocracy.

Assets

This group comes from a rural community, so there are not many assets available for its expansion.

Mythology & Lore

The Sylen have their own beliefs, that revolve around their ancestor spirits, but most importantly Thelunase, The Spirit of the Stars. Notably, Thelunase is considered (whether it be true or not) to be the sister of Cetion, The Silent Goddess of the Moon, relating them to the Elunemar peoples of Rarresh and the mainland of the western continent of Ivryia.

Divine Origins

This movement began in a rural community in the northwestern most region of the island of Ny'thelynn to combat the percieved threat to their ancient beliefs by the non-theism of the Magocracy of Ny'thelynn itself.

Political Influence & Intrigue

This is a very small movement that has only just begun to take hold in Ny'thelynn.

Sects

This movement is very young, but it is already showing signs of more radical offshoots beginning to sprout.
