Ivorah [Old]

Ivorah is a tumultuous world, often in the most literal of senses. From raging political conflicts and wars over territory to the very skies and oceans of the planet, chaos and tension exist in every fiber of Ivorah's being. Every age, from the First, where the Architects ran rampant, making and unmaking the world in their individual images, to the Fifth where the Architects are dead, and often physically consumed by the people they are discovered by, Ivorah is a grab-bag of different stories that can be told.   Physically, the planet is a fairly large one, with seven large continents littered around chaotic oceans that are nearly impossible to traverse by boat. This is due mostly to the strange cosmology of Ivorah. It is a planet in a binary star system, with no less than four moons and sixteen large rings orbiting the planet. The oceans and skies are almost never calm, perfectly reflecting the nature of Ivorah's peoples.   The people of Ivorah are as varied as they are numerous, making them quite difficult the describe as a group. Due to the fact that most people on each continent are hardly aware of the existence of their neighboring continent, cultures have been left to develop how they will, with very little external input. This means that languages, gods, historical recordings, mythologies, and the like are all almost indistinguishable from one another if you move so much as a single continent over.
