Clan Briarsbeard

Located in Dandelion Valley in Choustaoblea, Clan Briarsbeard is famous for their brewing industry and fierce warriors. They mainly farm malt and hops for beer brewing, though they also produce beverages such as mead and whiskey. The recipe for their beer is a closely guarded secret. Some members of the clan travel far to distant lands in search for new spices for their beer brewing. The dwarves in the clan that don't choose to go into grewery usually become fierce warriors, protecting their land from threats and fight in wars for others. The brewery first was founded by Gimdohr, Dalgrim, and Brulgwyn, a group of friends who set up the brewery because they enjoyed it, and the warrior branch was added because at the time, they needed guards to protect their newly built business. It was upon the third generation that the clan was given the name Briarsbeard by the lord whose family had moved there not long before. In exchange for fealty to the head of House Zasivor-Mua-Bask, the Briarsbeards became one of few court suppliers of beer among the common folk. Nearly every member of their clan descend from one or more of its founders; only those married into the clan does not.
