The Chronicles of the Itharia, The Murder Mansion: Session Thirty-nine
General Summary
The party spoke with Saransina briefly before starting to work their way out to the basement. Rhy and Lee finally decoded the manual and learned how to operate the arcane transfer chamber. Theren stopped to retrieve the small mimic and the party discovered Bit'tun was in the basement with his armors.
The armors had destroyed the abominations and Bit'tun was pondering what to do with the last creature that was notably different. Rhy freed the creature and found it to be relatively intelligent, though quite naive. It seemed to somewhat take the name Me. The party decided to move upstairs and Bit'tun experimented with his abilities within the house.
The party, once on the main floor, discussed how to handle the house with Lestria and Bit'tun and how to take care of Me. It was decided the Snowbreaker spirits would try to help Me, and the Itharia would be sent in some capacity to the home. Additionally they made a password of re-entry in thieves cant code of Lee's devising, which translates to "Let me in, LET ME INNNNNNN". Bit'tun would use his armor to guard the house.
Saransina concerned that the second frozen twin, Disiga might still be somewhere in the north decided to leave and search out her fellow foreign dragons, Caran and Yenter. After disappearing from the sight of Theren and Ranrus she snuck away before the party planned their own exit.
Having spent time in the basement the party seemed to have lost some track of time and it was dark out rather then midday like they would of expected.
The party passed on a pyrotechnic filled hero exit and instead decide to play a trick, pretending to be defeated and one member less and surprise everyone with Lee suddenly appearing and then the pyrotechnics. Instead they exited to their friends, Oula and Auna, who seeing their depressed look and lack of Lee, believed the worst. After a short state of anger from Oula, and crying from Auna, Lee revealed himself. The group decide to celebrate their clearing of the house by getting drinks and collecting their money.
Ranrus noticed one figure in the shadows different then the other waiting outside the mansion wearing a cap with symbol he recognized, but couldn't place, who headed north.
When the group arrived and declared they had cleared the house, they were placed in a zone of truth where they told the room; they cleared the mansion and they were now its owners. Bets were paid out to some locals and Ohpa. The party was paid out and given celebratory drinks. Cricket piss, surprisingly, is not awful, an sweet apple taste up front and a bitter finish. Orethia also gave them each a sorrow chaser, thick green fluid shot.
