God silver is unique magical ore found on Valnar. God silver has two unique properties. When touched by magical darkness the material get colder and colder slowly freezing everything around it. When touched by magical light the material get Hotter and Hotter slowly melting or burning everything around it. This property makes very sought after though very dangerous as amaterial for weapons to be made from
A weapon forged from god silver does bonus fire or cold damage based on whether its has magical light or magical darkness cast on it respectively. The first turn the weapon has either magical effect on it the weapon does an additional d4 of its damage. The following turns the the die size increases by one: the d4 becomes a d6, the d6 becomes a d8, the d8 becomes a d12 as the heat or cold increases. The turn after the die becomes d12 on a hit the weapon does 2d4 damage to the target and 1d4 damage to you. The number of dice continues to increase in this way indefinitely. for example on your 12th turn of this effect on hit the weapon would do 3d12 damage to the target and 2d12 damage to you. This damage can be resisted by the wielder but immunity is reduced to resistance. If at the start of your turn you have not attacked with this weapon since the start of your last turn you take damage equal to one of the current damage die. The effect ends if the magical light or darkness is dispelled or canceled.
