Like a snap

The rhythmic clicking as the wooden blocks brought Jela peace and calmed her mind.  Never knowing what creation would be conjured from the interconnections but with no focus the end result was a surprise and exciting.  Jela's mother expressed admiration with the creation skill and offered an apprenticship on the purpose day.  With the silent gait of a practice scout, Ofek was in the living room to interview Nyoka for their own purpose day.   Every sport, toy, and training with a purpose delving one's inner talent and find the role in which they will excel.  Ofek Runner sat on the couch and made a little noise on descent which startled Jela from her focused cretaion.  Thoughts of running off triggered by Ofek and taking a jackrunner

lope into the inviting wilderness searching for treasure in the ruins of Oskaldar. Then Jela's attention came back to the present, Ofek's jacket seemed to slightly blend into the surroundings and offer not the typical sounds of a leather uniform.  The attire seemed off but flowed into Ofek almost like it belonged.  With the errant thought, everything seemed to snap in place.  The glow lights on the ceiling above began to oscilate and glow brighter and Jela did not seem to notice the look of terror on Ofek's face.  The only registered sense was a satisfying click as the flows about Ofek were corrected.  Broken from the trance as reality rushed back in a surge, Jela heard the glow bulbs shatter, Ofek's screams as his jacket fused with the skin becoming a carapace, and the sharp wrap at the door followed by a crash and urgent marching made by a group of aquirerers.
