Aleron is the continent of the material plane and spans across its entirety, sitting in between the four elemental planes. The continent is divided into 5 main regions, the Northlands, the Mainland, Estirun, the Bahturab coast and the Ebon Enclave. The continent, and therefore plane, houses 13 provinces, those being
Frystfell, Kynumbra, Kaltenze, Dahak-Sulta, I'isalren, Arides, The Great Mountains, Virthwood, Shores of Estirun, Deflrun, Khajren, the Malabor Desert, and
The Ebon Enclave.
Northlands
The Northlands is the collection of countries that make the north of Aleron, those provinces being
Frystfell,
Kynumbra, and
Dahak-Sulta, as well as parts of northern
Kaltenze. Dominated by
Dwarves and
Half-Giants to the west, and
Orcs and
Ogres to the east, the Northlands is the homeland of powerful, militaristic clans, in the middle of which lives the northern human folk. The Northlands is divided by the tribal
Kynskar folk of
Frystfell and
Kynumbra, along with the seafaring Rusalkans that live in villages atop the nimbus ocean. Across the Northlands, worship of the Solus Trinitas is ripe, along with the racial pantheons of
Orcs, Giants and
Dwarves. Scattered across the northlands are ruins of extinct clans, and expansive underground networks of burrows and mines.
Mainland
Mainland Aleron spans across most of the human provinces, throughout
Kaltenze,
Arides, and
I'isalren, and is divided by
The Great Mountains. Most of
Kaltenze is dominated by the Eisenwalde folk, a stalwart culture with a fabeled history and numerous accomplishments. The majority of Northern
Arides is populated by the Hæthelcyne culture, born from ancient empires governed by
Dragons. Meanwhile, the wilds of the deserts house pockets of
Tuakahn folk, nomads that roam the deserts and plains. The northern border between
Kaltenze,
Dahak-Sulta and I'Islaren lives the Dalriadan people, druids and mages with a strong relationship with neighbouring Wood Elven tribes.
I'isalren is divided by the central-northern culture of Valerianan, a nation of proud warriors that fight alongside Leonin allies, and the southern culture of Chantelune, a magistocratic society governed by powerful human and elven arcanists. South
Arides is populated by the
Mezzec folk, influenced by travelers and traders from the
Ebon Enclave. Pockets of
The Great Mountains is populated by the isolationist Himadri folk, a culture brought to Aleron by the
Aaracokra folk from the Floating Isles of Lung-Dar. Across Mainland Aleron, worship of the
Prime Gods prevails, unifying the often opposed nations under an umbrella of worship.
Estirun
Estirun are the islands off the east coast of Aleron that are largely populated by the Elven migrants from the Feywild, and the indigenous beastfolk and
Felinids. The islands are split into two major provinces, the
Shores of Estirun and the smaller island of
Deflrun. North Eastern estirun has retained its predominantely
Felinids population, whereas the rest of the country is deeply rooted in High Elven culture.
Virthwood, despite being connected t mainland Aleron, is considered part of Esitrun for, since
The Bonding, it is the kingdom of the Wood Elves. Its dense woodlands, marshlands and jungles are contested between the native
Woodwose folk and the migrant Wood elves. Parts of South Estirun and
Virthwood, bleeding slightly into islands off the
Ebon Enclave, is populated by the Nurocahn folk, isolationists that live off the land and the bounties provided by the ocean.
Bahturab Coast
The Bahturab Coast lies at the top of the plane of Earth, a much more hospitable climate then the rest of the plane of Earth. The coast is split between two provinces, Kahjren and the
Malabor Desert. Central
Khajren is mostly populated by the fierce and militant Qasbahni folk, whos accomplishments are known continent wide. Meanwhile, the Zahramar folk live in the wilds of Kahjren, and hold great secrets kept by the desert. The coast of kahjren is populated by the Kerman folk, seafarers and traders that travel across the Southern Channel. Sharing these lands are large groups of @felini have adopted their pantheons and cultures. The Jahanzan folk populate the coastline of Malabor, known for their brutality in battle and worship of the
Tempest Priests. The rest of the
Malabor Desert houses large clans and tribes of
Minotaurs that have established their power through sheer domination, along with coastal communities of Tabaxi and southern
Dwarves that dwell in the mountains.
Ebon Enclave
The
Ebon Enclave, housing the province of the same name, is the south eastern island off the coast of Bhaturab and south of the
Shores of Estirun. The majority of the
Ebon Enclave is populated by Reptiran tribes, constantly at war with the pervasive Naga. The historic and mystereous ancient empire of
Nakani originated in the
Ebon Enclave, the ruins of their empire holding magical secrets of untold power. The western coasts of
Ebon Enclave were largely populated by the seafareing Cartharis folk that have spread up through the islands around southern
Virthwood and Estirun. Meanwhile, the mainland of the
Ebon Enclave is inhabited by the Chimalli peoples, who share the
Reptiran Pantheon with their Reptiran neighbours that shift between allies and enemies.
